Frequently Asked Questions
Understand the Full Process
What exactly does RecruitIQ do?
RecruitIQ helps athletes and their families navigate the college recruiting process with personalized 1-on-1 guidance. From creating highlight videos to writing emails, making college lists, preparing for visits, and communicating with coaches, we walk with you every step of the way.
What makes RecruitIQ different?
- We focus exclusively on volleyball athletes.
- Unlike other services, we offer 1-on-1 weekly or monthly in-person or online meetings.
- We simplify the process, make it crystal clear, and guide you every step of the way, from your first email to your final commitment.
- We also provide training for recruit visits, phone calls, and more.
- Plus, we can attend matches in person to record and help create professional highlight films.
When should I start the recruiting process?
It is never to early to get organized, and never to late to start. Most athletes begin in 9th or 10th grade. But there are still opportunities for seniors with the right outreach.
Do you guarantee a scholarship?
No one can guarantee scholarships. What we guarantee is giving you the best guidance, tools, and connections to maximize your opportunities. We can guarantee I will be there every step of the way with the athlete. Our goal is to find the right fit where you can play, grow, and succeed.
At the end of the day, it is up to the player how much effort they will put into getting a scholarship.
How much does RecruitIQ cost?
Every family’s recruiting journey looks different, so I keep my pricing flexible. Some athletes need full, ongoing guidance with emails, highlight videos, and regular meetings, while others may just want help with a one-time video edit or creating a college list.
I offer different packages and a la carte options so you can choose the level of support that makes the most sense for your athlete’s goals, age, and timeline. During our first consultation, we’ll talk through your needs and build a plan that fits both your family and your budget.
How do we get started?
Simply reach out via email (recruitiq@gmail.com) or phone (801-889-7838). We’ll set up a consultation to talk through your athlete’s goals and create a game plan.
What if my daughter isn’t a “Division I” player?
I am a big advocate for looking into other divisions besides D1. I believe that not everyone is a Division 1 fit, and that is MORE than okay. There are amazing opportunities at every level.
I’ve played at the JUCO, NAIA, and NCAA Division I levels, and I know first-hand that there’s a place for everyone willing to work. RecruitIQ helps find the right fit, not just the “big name” fit.
What if my athlete isn’t sure they even want to play in college?
That’s okay! Many athletes use RecruitIQ to explore their options. Even if they decide not to pursue college athletics, the skills they learn; communication, organization, confidence, are valuable life lessons.
How much time and parent involvement does this take?
Every family is different, and we cater to your needs. Some parents want to be hands-on, while others prefer us to handle the details. We will adjust to whatever works best.
The timeline also depends on your athletes age and where they are at in their journey. Seniors often will put in more time to move quickly, while freshman can focus on a gradual preparation.
No matter what stage you are in, you will always know the exact next step in the process. We provide 24/7 text or calls to be able to support the athlete in every way possible.
